Dr. Nadeem Akram Butt
Consultant Radiologist
Dr. Nadeem Akram Butt is a consultant radiologist with more than 14 years of experience in the field of Diagnostic Radiology. He offers diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal (MSK) and rheumatology imaging services.
Dr. Butt holds a Bachelor’s of Medicine and Surgery from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, in 2002. He did his basic surgical training in Peterborough in England, UK, in a busy trauma center and major orthopedic surgery center. While there, he completed Membership of Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (MRCS) in 2007.
He completed radiology training in Glasgow and obtained his Fellowship of Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2010 and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2012. He has worked at most renowned premier institutes including Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Beatson Oncology Centre, and Southern General Hospital (now Queen Elizabeth University Hospital).
With extensive experience at leading medical facilities across UK and the Middle East, Dr. Butt has been responsible for facilitating continuing medical education (CME) and training courses. He has keen interest in Health informatics and has extensive experience in IT, in particular PACS/RIS software, Health information exchanges at many premier institutions. He has been integral part of Total Quality Management and Accreditation process.
Immediately prior to joining Emirates International Specialist Hospital in 2021, Dr. Butt worked as a consultant MSK radiologist at a well-known hospital in Abu Dhabi from 2018.
