Emirates International Specialist Hospital ’s wound care outpatient program provides an interdisciplinary approach to healing wounds. Our specialists identify the cause of the wound then outline a tailored course of treatment, including medication, specific wound dressing, proper diet and other elements as needed to help the wound heal as quickly and safely as possible.
Wounds are generally caused by one of the following factors:
- Burn
- Injury
- Loss of sensation (Neuropathy)
- Poor circulation (Venous/Arterial/Mixed)
- Pressure
- Surgery (Operation)
